I went on this path one day – off the straight and narrow way
looking to find the unknown – unafraid to be alone
a skip in my stride – my smile a mile wide
passion perspiring inside.
.
Suddenly! There’s a shadow – beside my own.
“It can’t be so!” No one came with me, I know.
Nobody else wished to go.
Who could it be then? How shall I begin?
Where did it happen and when?
.
I’ll tell you a secret now – that only you can allow.
Stick with me for one moment – maybe you’ll find atonement.
Do you not have the time? It won’t cost a dime.
(Don’t be scared. It’s just a rhyme.)

Okay? Now, back to the trail…
not knowing that I could fail – sensing a treasure ahead
I take a left turn instead.
And to my surprise – right before my eyes
this other shadow complies.
.
I look – but no one is there!
With reason, I must compare…
Judging it, I do declare, “It’s not my own!”, but I swear,
it stayed right with me. I giggled with glee!
(Quite strange, you might agree.)

And so, I strode on through the wood
wond’ring if two shadows could
converge as one, if the light
from the sun was angled right.
.
I stopped in my tracks, and checked out the facts:

Very beautiful! I am not very poetry savvy so help me to understand. Is “three as one” referring to the trinity? Or is the shadow in the path to the left possibly something else. It seems the shadow offering atonement was left behind. Or am I being to literal. I did like it very much thou.

It’s been said – that God never gives us more than we can handle. Perhaps, that is why I’ve never encountered a ghost…at least, not in my waking world. I have seen and heard the evidence brought forth by the many. If I apply Occam’s Razor to my rough and stubby reasoning, it is then that I find myself agreeing with the simplest of truths – and at times, that truth overwhelms me.

Isaiah 43:1-3 – Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. Yes some Translations do leave this Scripture out that is referring to The Godhead or Trinity, I use the K.J.V but the way we can be sure it was in the original is if it is also confirmed in other Scripture ( see below) there are more of course but these do confirm 1 John 5:7 no doubt you will know most if not all of them.

This scripture brings the devil to mind, but it also gives me no reason to fear. Death has lost its sting, and good wins out.
The birth of evil was, is, and always will be – a blessing in disguise.

Hi Brother Keith, I can only guess why this Scripture makes you think of Satan in the way you did, so correct me if I’m wrong but I will check out your link tomorrow perhaps it will give the reason. It’s getting late in Aussie Land so for know I will just say briefly what many don’t know but perhaps you do.
God told us everything He created was very good, so we know that Satan was also good as a created being like the other Angels and Adam and Eve and also like the Arch Angle Michael he had Power and free will too like us. But he became proud and wanted God’s glory, the absence of Love is evil, he won control of the earth because of the fall of mankind, which we know he offered to Jesus if He would worship him but Jesus was not tricked.
Satan also created Hell, all good things come from God, He is Love and can do no evil. Trying to understand the ancient Hebrew in the flesh has caused a lot of error and confusion and not knowing God for who He is and what He is like has added to it, (1Corinthians2:9-16 ) God gives us His wisdom and understanding, when we ask for it in Faith.
