Solar winds notwithstanding, we glide the curtains closed,
eclipsing our former shadowy figures with a shadier version of sunny-side up.

Beautiful!!!!
π Thank you for sharing! π
Preserve the best life has to offer ~ great advice, and wonderful photos. The opening shot matches this these very well. Wish you a great weekend ahead UT! π
Thank you kindly, Randall! π Great to see you again!
We happen to be near the center-line for the upcoming total solar eclipse, August 21st. I took a day of vacation, so we can get a good spot early in the morning to fish, watch and take pictures. Any advice?
I much admire your work! “Esteemed character” comes to mind when I think about all the photographers I’ve met on the internet (mostly here on WordPress). You’re tops! π
Most likely, I’ll just use the settings on my Sony Cyber Shot DSC-WX350 for twilight and night vision. As it is a first-time experience for me, I’ve read I shouldn’t shoot too many pics. Our eyes can’t be beat, ’tis true. But as one gets older, memories become fleeting. For me, pics keep the runways clean and the communication lines open to the past, and it’s nice to have them around just in case we forget.
Cheerz! to a great weekend for you and yours as well! Peace and luvz, Uncle Tree
So cool to be near the center line of the eclipse, what an amazing experience it will be. I think you’ll be able to get some tremendous shots ~ I’m like you, I enjoy experiencing things first hand, but it is also nice to have some photos too π I’ll see 95% of the eclipse in Pendleton, Oregon…not bad, but would love to have a front row seat π Have a great weekend and best of luck on the 21st!
Thanks again, Randall! My pics will end up here, if I live through this apocalyptic experience. π
And, I hope the poetic finds me that day. Best wishes to you, too! Cheerz! UT
That shady version of sunny side up worries me a bit.
An egg in the shade is worth two in danger of being scrambled. π
Thanks a ton for flipping me over easy, George! Cheerz! UT
