Yellow Castle Of The Soul

Yellow Castle

Like castles in the sand
we stand up and we fall down
we get stuck in ruts
and buried under our own weight

In sifts and shifts and fits
we imagine ourselves anew
and one grain at a time
we build ourselves up again

  1. first, GREAT picture, very neat. secondly- love the idea- especially when i think about Habits- and the weight we get buried in with those, learn to shed the ones that don’t serve us, and start a new one- day by day- grain by grain- until later in life it will no longer serve us either- as we all continue to grow and evolve. good stufff to think about- thanks for expressing something motivating! mikey

  2. Thank you for liking β€œLevitation.” Great photo and poem! Our inner world does seem to operate on a different set of rules from our everyday existence, and the rules are constantly changing. πŸ™‚

  3. Thank you for floating over here to read me, Arlene! πŸ™‚

  4. You are welcome. Yes, rules are tricky things. Even lines drawn in the sand don’t last very long! πŸ™‚

It is good to hear from you again. I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend. πŸ™‚
