Rudy: Duke of Ginger

Rudy: Duke of Ginger

Rudy, Duke of Ginger, says, “Hello there, folks!”

Rudy bows for prayer

Regal Rudy takes a royal bow best he can.

Rudy sprawled out on the floor

After all the fun, a royal nap seems purr…fectly in order.

Rudy stirring to life

Let me know when they start serving ice cream. I love that part!

Ready steady Rudy

Ready steady Rudy knows a silver spoon when he sees one.

Believe you me! — Sir Uncle Tree

  1. Rudy is a cutie – that’s two gingers I’ve seen today from afar. I watched the Royal wedding this morning in lieu of a walk … it has been raining and storming all day long here.

  2. He is pretty cuddly, John. We got him when he was only 7 weeks old, and we allow him to get up-close and personal, but I can’t say for sure if that is why he is a friendly and affectionate lap cat. It could just be an innate personality trait.

  3. Glad you think so, Linda. ๐Ÿ™‚ Thank you!
I watched the wedding, too, as you can probably guess.

It was rainy and drizzly here all day, and my tear ducts decided to follow suit.
Uncle Tree is such a sap when it comes to fairy tale weddings.

Our youth are in dire need of new hope for a new age,
and my wishful thinking soul is a true believer in magic.

When the terribly unimaginable meets the best in life on national TV,
one has a choice on where their mind and heart will dwell,
and most times I choose the brighter side of life, especially when it seems so appropriate.

Hope you have good Sunday. Peace and luvz, UT

  4. I too am a sap when it comes to fairy tale weddings Uncle Tree. I’ve seen all three of them now – who will be next I wonder? George is only four years old right now … hmmm. This couple seemed so in love … their glances, their smiles, it is just so evident. I heard little tidbits on the news about them like her bridal bouquet was hand-picked by Harry Saturday morning … flowers from their garden where they live. I think he is a romantic – that’s a nice quality. The horses prancing and the carriage ride – all that pomp and pageantry on a beautiful day was such a delight to see. Enjoy your day as well Uncle Tree – I am wavering on whether to go the Memorial Day Parade (always a week earlier in our City) or go to the soggy Park. All this rain – grrrrr.

  5. When in Rome…drink the sap. ๐Ÿ™‚ Down that royally Electric Kool-Aid!
It makes everyone seem like family for a spell.

“Wouldn’t it be nice…” Yes, those two are enamored with each other.
I hope my daughter makes a good choice like that someday.
Then, maybe, I can be Grandpa Tree. ๐Ÿ™‚ Makes me smile.

  6. Tell your daughter to take her time and hopefully that special someone will come along. Hmmm – Grandpa Tree … it has a certain “ring” to it, if you’ll pardon my pun. ๐Ÿ™‚ Now I made you smile twice.

  7. Thank you kindly, Julie! ๐Ÿ™‚ You know how it is with titles —
After watching the Royal Wedding, I did the math. Put 2+2 together appropriately, and my mind spits out “Cute!” At least, I thought so.
