Wide Open

 Birds of a feather
fly clockwise together
for we cannot turn back time
Facing the weather
with a love beyond measure
we can wing it as we climb

We will play it all by ear
the song that only hearts can hear
the tune with which we ring the years
the silent notes we sing through tears
♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫
Stars await our joyful sounds
which spin the planets round-n-round
where angel’s blissful blue abounds
where love ferments on holy ground
Where Heaven’s Gates are always found

  1. Murmuration is a word I heard and learned
this very year, dear Ed! 🙂
A swarm that warmed the birds so swift,
so darling are the starlings flitting to and fro
as one peppered cloud of speckled catchers
of the rays weaving rings around thin air streams
that dare not stray, ‘er they take one’s breath away.

  2. I see we exist from time to time,
my dear brother, Em. Wake me,
if, and when, the sun refuses to rise and shine,
and I will romp my way to start the day,
so the world may get on with it,
whatever that it may be at the time.

Cheerz to lenses clear and bright!
Flight on, flight on! Groovy waves, KAW

  3. Thank you kindly, Lorrie! 🙂 Yes, that is me mug.
And yes, Life is awesome — for better and for worse.
Furthermore, furthermore refers to aging, seems to me.
The more Time passes, the more we further our understandings
of the means and ways to which the gods apply their powers
and their effectiveness to the ideal of freewill,
which humans hold dearly, even if it’s just a thought.

Take care, good lady! Luvz and hugz, Keith
