Tickling her way through the moss in the Spring
young imp bursts forth into the light of day
Winding a path from the trunk to the crown
by Summer’s end she will be free to kiss the sky
▼
Waving in the wind and waltzing in the rain
she feels for her ancient oak, making his life sensational
Her ecstatic cling informs his essential being
Thus he knows in the densest way just why his sap stirs so
♥
Thanks to his essential imp
this live oak becomes man enough
He imagines himself man enough to realize
he truly is alive enough to be loved by Nature’s best
▼
he loves his blooming weaving ympe
season by season and year after year
from Here and Now ’till Kingdom Come!
▼
I do want you, my darling ympe. I want you now as I wanted you then; back then — back when I was but a little sprout and you popped up beside me to help me and guide me, as I helped you, as as we reached and grew together in the forest that was before there was anything else.

This is beautiful, I’ve never seen Oaks with so much moss and covered with so many plants. And the verse:
“Thanks to his essential imp
this live oak becomes man enough
He imagines himself man enough to realize
he truly is alive enough to be loved by Nature’s best”
Is simply beautiful! The harmony in nature is always so perfect and timely.
I always think standing within the energy of trees I am not only standing on sacred ground, I am standing in the presence of Wisdom of the Ancient Ones sharing unconditional love
Your photos are incredible, a feeling of the ancient ones presence is there and I love the whispers you penned for us as you listened to their voices
Thank you for sharing, I enjoyed the post very much
