All Mixed Up In Love

A whirlpool of change
A spiral form in essence
Virtuous vacuum

Blending emotions
Separating loves and hates
From top to bottom

Humble loves stay low
Arrogant hates spin out high
Dizzying effects

Soon I will be left
With nothing but my true love
She makes things go right

Sorrows spin away
My happiness holds on tight
Her love surrounds me

A hug in motion
Her kisses land all over
A good mix we’ll make

One touches One twice

Pushed and pulled close together

Again and again

Far and in between each reach

One thought caught in mind

Walk the wooden planks
Be held in suspense mid-air
Let go of your grasp

Steal a glance below
You will feel your need for me
The wind will pick up

Steadily you’ll swing
Dance in a dervish two-step
Sway to go beyond

Confidence may soar
Fear will step on from behind
The end is ahead

Still, you have to cross
Better days already seen
Best you move on now

The Crumbs Of Humility

Posted in Christianity, haiku, poetry with tags , , on February 15, 2009 by Uncle Tree

Good-Friday

The bread was broken

Torn to shreds in memory

We all share the grief

.

Water turned to wine

The future turned on its head

The gods turned their backs

.

One cup was not passed

One man cried, but not in vain

The Son felt the weight

.

Choice-less awareness

Willingly allowing this

Nothing left to lose

.

Leave it all behind!

Thieves? No longer bothersome

Rust? Not a problem

.

Worldly matters cease

The Son can shine without you

But you without Him?
